With your membership fee of 100 CHF per year, you will lastingly support the work of our association. We do not have any salaries to pay, although we cannot work without certain administration expenditures. The costs arising in direct connection with our work are borne wholly by the members and sponsors and are not financed by the project donations.

Based on a decree dated 2 March 2007 issued by the Dipartimento delle finanze e dell'economia of the Canton of Tessin, the Direct Donation Association (Associazione Direct Donation) has been recognized as a non-profit organisation in accordance with Article 154 cpv. 3 lett. a) (Taxes on inheritance or donations) as well as Article 65 lett. f) (Taxes on profit and capital). The tax exemption for the latter taxes also applies to the Federal Tax in accordance with Article 56 lett. g) DBG.
Terms of tax deductibility are regulated differently depending on the donor’s canton of residence. The tax office usually forwards a copy of the remittance slip to us.
We shall confirm to you in writing every donation that we receive from you.
